Taxation of sport and cultural benefits.

Employers can subsidise their employees' sport and cultural activities as a tax-free employee benefit and deduct the full cost in their own accounts.

 

Employers can subsidise sport and cultural activities tax-free at the rate of €400 per employee per year. The benefit is personal. The sport and culture benefit can be seen as a cheaper alternative to a pay rise.

Prepaid self-service for businesses with less than 10 people.

The service fee consists of a per-item commission (% per download)

The minimum service charge is €10 per employee per year. There is no minimum charge for lunch.The service charges are subject to VAT at the current rate.

The service fee is charged as a percentage of the amount of the benefit made available to the employee:

Epassi Sport & Culture 5,0 %
Epassi Commuting 5,0 %
Epassi Wellbeing 5,0 % (to be phased out)

In addition to this, a charge of €0.50/employee/charge will be made for each lunch meal top-up.
For other benefits, €7.50 per employee per recharge.

The service charges will be subject to VAT at the rate in force from time to time.

Continuous subscription - Epassi Plus

The cost of the Epassi Plus service consists of a service fee charged on the value of the activated benefit as follows:

  • Lunch 2,5 %
  • Sports and Culture 5,9 %
  • Flex (including 2-3 benefits: sport & culture, commuting, wellness): 5.9%
  • Company-specific monthly fee: €5/month

The service will be activated by our customer support after signing the digital contract. The subscription requires the electronic signature of a person with a signed name.
As part of the start of using our service, we will check your company's credit history. VAT will be added to the service fees at the current rate.

How do I get Epassi Go benefits?

Epassi Go is an easy way to subscribe to employee benefits as a self-service service. Sign up, subscribe and pre-pay your benefits.

1. Sign up and distribute your benefits.

You can get started with Epassi Go right away by registering on our online service. After registration, add your employees and upload the number of benefits you want. You can distribute the benefits to your employees in as many instalments as you like.

2. Pay the bill.

The download will result in an invoice, which you can pay immediately or send on. The benefits are released to your employees once the payment is credited to the Epassi bank account.

3. Encourage the use of benefits.

Only an advantage spent increases the well-being of employees! Preferred balances are available until the end of the calendar year. Any unused balances during the year will be credited to the first recharge of the following year.
